Reely is a service run by Cats Do Coding ("we", "us"). This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website and the Reely service, why we collect it, and your rights under South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).
Information we collect
When you contact us. If you use the enquiry form or email us, we collect your name, email address, company or brand name (if you give it) and your message.
When you use Reely as a client. We collect the information needed to make and publish your videos: topics, brand assets such as logos and website addresses, titles and descriptions, and the details needed to publish to your YouTube and TikTok accounts.
When you visit the site. Our server keeps standard technical logs, such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to keep the site running and secure.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and discuss working together.
- To create, review and publish videos for clients.
- To keep the website and service secure and working properly.
We don't sell your personal information, and we don't use it for advertising.
Services that help us run Reely
To produce videos we send the topic and script text to AI providers: Anthropic (script writing), Stability AI (images) and ElevenLabs (voiceover). Finished videos are published through YouTube (Google) and TikTok. Enquiry notifications are sent through our email provider. Some of these providers process data outside South Africa; we only use providers that protect information to a standard comparable to POPIA.
Videos on this page are embedded from YouTube in privacy-enhanced mode. YouTube may still set cookies or similar storage when you play a video, under Google's privacy policy.
Cookies
This site only uses cookies that are needed for it to work, such as keeping the site secure and keeping administrators signed in. We don't use analytics or advertising cookies.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for as long as needed to respond and follow up, and delete them within [12 months] if we don't go on to work together. Client information is kept for the length of our working relationship and as required by law afterwards.
Your rights
Under POPIA you can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and object to how we use it. Email us at reelyapp@catsdocoding.co.za and we'll respond within a reasonable time.
If you're not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Information Regulator at inforegulator.org.za.
